Safety has always been a top priority at Hayes Manufacturing, and it will always remain that way. It is extremely important to us to protect the health and well-being of every one of our employees, our customers and any person who may be at one of our job sites.
To that end, Hayes Manufacturing has developed a comprehensive written safety program that must be strictly adhered to by every employee. In addition, we hold weekly safety meetings with employees to review safety procedures regularly as well as to inform personnel of any new safety issues or changes in policy. We also strive for zero loss time accidents every year at Hayes Manufacturing.
When it comes to safety, the bottom line is that we are committed to sending each and every person at our company home safely to their families – every day.
At Hayes Manufacturing we are proud to have earned a reputation for the quality of work that we put into our products. All products are thoroughly inspected by Quality Control personnel before leaving our facility. Through the years there have been many instances when we have sacrificed profits in order to make sure the product is perfect. That is how dedicated we are to quality.
In addition to the expertise of our personnel, one of the keys to our successful Quality Control program is our equipment, including the CMM (Computer Measuring Machine). This technology measures parts to within 0.001” which ensures all of our machined parts are to the customer’s specifications.
It is because of the effectiveness of our quality program that our company has been able to obtain certification by the American Institution of Steel Construction for Simple Steel Bridges, as well as Association of American Railroads certification.
Through the years our company has also won a number of prestigious awards. Recently, Hayes Manufacturing was selected as a 2015 winner of the Innovated Leadership in Manufacturing Award by the Frost & Sullivan Manufacturing Leadership (ML) Council.
One of the most special was company owner James Hayes, Jr. being named as the 2011 Small-Business Person of the Year by the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, Hayes Manufacturing received the 2000 Lantern Award for Outstanding Manufacturing, which was presented by the governor of Louisiana.
The company has also received the 1999 Kisatchie-delta Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Rotary Club of Pineville Business of the Year.
Hayes Manufacturing is proud to be ISO compliant with a certification from the American Welding Society.
